You're ready to take Bible study seriously, and you want to choose a good Bible to help you as you go. Is "good Bible" an appropriate term to use? We think so. Here's why.

Whether you're brand new to reading the Bible or have been reading it for five decades, we are all in the same boat. Studying is a life-long pursuit for all of us, and we want to come alongside you as you learn to abide.

Bible commentaries are helpful tools that further explain and interpret Scripture for us. We recommend only going to commentaries after doing some digging yourself.

I used to only note cross references in my actual studies. Now I've started marking them in my Bible as well. Here's how I do it and why you should consider marking your Bible with cross references too! 

The purpose of annotating is to help you slow down and make some of your own observations about a passage.These skills may not come naturally at first, but we'd encourage you to stick with it. It is so rewarding.
