We memorize Scripture so that God's Word can be written on our hearts. Deuteronomy 6:6 says, "And these words that I command you today shall be on your heart." There is a reason God calls us to write His Words on our hearts. He knows we are forgetful, and He wants us to remember. Remembering is life.
